A la fábrica de grupos electrógenos en Brasil y la fábrica de alternadores en Argentina, se suma ahora un nuevo centro productivo en este mismo país con el que se incrementará la producción de grupos electrógenos para el mercado argentino. La compañía cuenta además con filiales comerciales en Panamá, República Dominicana y Argentina. HIMOINSA penetró en Latam en el año 2004 con la adquisición de su actual fábrica de alternadores. Un año más tarde, abrió su oficina comercial en Panamá, para atender al mercado centroamericano. En 2010 arranca la filial de HIMOINSA en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y cuatro años más tarde, en 2014, abre su centro productivo en Brasil, diseñando un producto específico para el mercado brasileño. La apertura de la nueva fábrica de grupos electrógenos en Argentina permitirá dar una respuesta rápida al mercado, acortar plazos de entrega y diseñar un producto concreto en función de las necesidades planteadas por cada región. Durante este tiempo, HIMOINSA ha desarrollado importantes proyectos en Latinoamérica. Ha suministrado energía de emergencia a importantes data center y hospitales, así como grupos electrógenos a gas para el cultivo del salmón en Chile. 9MW de energía de emergencia para el nuevo hospital de Guayaquil HIMOINSA ha suministrado 12 grupos electrógenos en standby para alimentar las seis torres del nuevo hospital al norte de la ciudad más poblada de la República de Ecuador. Para asegurar la continuidad de la atención sanitaria en caso de que se produzca un corte en el suministro de red, HIMOINSA ha proporcionado cuatro grupos electrógenos en stand-by que suman hasta 9MW de energía. South America is becoming one of the most important markets for HIMOINSA As the manufacturer of generator sets and lighting towers continues to grow internationally, Latin America is fast becoming one of its principal markets. The company is currently manufacturing generator sets in Brazil and alternators in Argentina where it has now opened a new production centre that will increase the production of generator sets for the Argentinian market. The firm also has sales subsidiaries in Panama, the Dominican Republic and Argentina. HIMOINSA entered South America in 2004 when it purchased the alternator factory it still has there. One year later, it opened its sales office in Panama to handle the Central American market. The subsidiary of HIMOINSA got under way in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2010 and four years later, in 2014, it opened its production centre in Brazil, designing a specific product for the Brazilian market. The opening of the new generator set production factory in Argentina will allow the company to respond quickly to the market, reducing delivery times and designing specific products to meet the needs of each region. Throughout this time, HIMOINSA has unfurled important projects in Latin America. It has supplied emergency power to important data centers and hospitals, as well as gas-powered generator sets for salmon farms in Chile. 9MW of emergency power for the new hospital in Guayaquil HIMOINSA has supplied 12 stand-by generator sets to provide power to the six towers of the new hospital in the north of what is the most densely populated city in the Republic of Ecuador. To ensure the hospital can continue to provide medical care in the event of a failure in the mains supply, HIMOINSA has supplied four stand-by generator sets that together provide up to 9MW of power. Emergency power to Gas Natural Fenosa Servicios in Panama For operational purposes, the service company of one of the main distributors responsible for supplying electricity to the Republic of Panama has purchased 11 HIMOINSA generator sets, ready and able to generate up to 5 MW of power when working in parallel.
